Africa Educational Trust provides education to children and adults affected by conflict and poverty. Education doesn't have to end when conflict begins. We work to give every child the chance to go to school as well as helping those who missed out on formal education get a second chance to learn.
Rose and Mary Learning Together
Speak-Up radio-based lessons provide basic English education, which people like Rose (whose story you will hear in the appeal) and her daughter Mary enjoy in the safety of their home.Â

Students who want a formal qualification join our 6-month course where they can review lessons together with the help of a tutor, and receive a certificate upon completing a final exam.
