Edi Stark sits in

Edi Stark sits in for Janice Forsyth and discusses the week's new film releases, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Promise and Lady Macbeth.

It's Film Day: Edi Stark will discuss Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 - Marvel's likeable superhero comedy team are back for another amiable and goofy action packed adventure.

Regular Critics, Wendy Lloyd & Nigel Floyd will share their thoughts on it, and on this week's other big cinema releases: including Lady Macbeth - a biting tale of female empowerment which slowly reveals itself to be something much much darker... and The Promise - an epic love triangle set amid the Armenian genocide of 1915.

Later in the show, we'll hear from legendary Bassman Chris Glen, who found fame in 1972 when his band Tear Gas united with an established Glaswegian rock star to become THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND! He will be discussing his new rock'n'roll memoir, and, ahead of Glasgow Zine Fest we will hear all about the Scottish Premiere of Laura Israel's critically acclaimed documentary on the legendary photographer & film maker Robert Frank. The director herself will be on the line from New York.

All that and much more, from two o'clock on Thursday, here on ±«Óãtv Radio Scotland.
