Pip is on edge, and Justin plays it cool.

Justin and Brian shake on a renewed estate contract. There's no such pleasing progress on the broiler unit however, reports Brian. Justin's happy that all's going according to plan with Lilian. He's taken Brian's advice not to appear too keen; but now his divorce is progressing and he feels he's kept Lilian waiting long enough. They're interrupted by Adam. He suspects IBR in the cattle on the herbal leys. Three outbreaks in one village can't be a coincidence, surely?

Adam and Lilian talk relationships. Adam reports he and Ian are fine, while Lilian feels like she and Justin may not patch things up. She hasn't heard a word from him. She doesn't know if she can bear it. Later, Justin surprises her at ±«Óãtv Farm. There's an elaborate dance of conversation about missed calls, with dejected Lilian about to give up, before Justin suggests lunch tomorrow.

Pip points out to Toby his midnight antics picking marshmallow are a waste of time; Carol's having a laugh at his expense. But Toby persists. He needs it to work. Adam's news of IBR in his cattle upsets Pip. She thinks she should come clean about the broken fence but Toby persuades her not to. He suggests the outbreak might not be her fault, so she should keep quiet and not rock the boat.
