Brexit is one of the biggest issues facing Scottish Agriculture in generations. So what stage are we at and what is going on behind the closed doors? Jonnie Hall is Director of Policy with NFU Scotland and has access to the political decision makers denied to journalists. He's given an exclusive interview to Out of Doors.

Mark is down in the South West of the country finding out about the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere. It has just been announced that the area will host the first World Dark Skies conference in September this year.

Earlier this week the Soil Association held an event at Glen Tanar Estate looking at the practicalities of woodfuel and biomass. Thanks to recent incentives, biomass boilers have grown in popularity. The sector is keen to promote itself as a sustainable way of moving away from relying on fossil fuels. Laura Cuthill went along to find out more.

When you look at an Ordnance Survey map you might assume that all roads and paths are marked on it. In Scotland that isn't the case, core paths are not shown on OS maps and Ramblers Scotland want to do something about it. Mark and Euan find out about their campaign from Helen Todd.

RSPB Scotland launched an appeal to raise 拢285,000 for the Mersehead reserve on the Solway Firth in October last year. The target has been reached enabling it to buy an extra 275 acres of land in the area. Mark went down to find out what the extension will mean for the reserve.
