Susan has a lot to live up to, and Anisha needs to act fast.

Alistair offers to swap on-call shifts with Anisha so she can enjoy Burns Night at The Bull on Wednesday. Shula joins them to report that the horse that fell yesterday is now lame. They assess him and discuss what should be said to the owner. Anisha extracts the thorn stuck in the horse's right front knee joint. Shula is impressed - there's no way Alistair would have done what she did. That's the beauty of partnerships, remarks Anisha, they can both play to each other's strengths.

Neil questions why Susan is spending so much time on her appearance. Later, he finds her looking at her new portrait. She's feeling under pressure to live up to it and worries how she can look that good, day in day out. Neil can't believe Susan still doubts her looks even though he has told her she's beautiful countless times. Susan decides to move her portrait and put the one of the whole family in its place.

Tracy worries to Susan about not hearing anything from Roy and then compliments her on how she's looking. Later, in the shop, Helen hears from Susan and Tracy that Rob has left Ambridge. They fish for more of a reaction from Helen. Then, once she's left, they share their amazement that Helen didn't know about Rob's departure.
