Asparagus, Christmas poultry auctions and handmade festive gifts.

EU protected food status goes to Vale of Evesham asparagus; Anna Hill visits a Christmas poultry auction in Norfolk; and how handmade woollen festive gifts are made on the farm.

It's taken four years - but a regional crop has finally achieved EU protected food status. Vale of Evesham asparagus now joins other British food products on the list such as Melton Mowbray Pork Pies and Stilton cheese. As Christmas is just around the corner, where do you go to buy that traditional bird for the big feast? An alternative option to the supermarket or your local butcher could be one of the traditional Christmas poultry auctions where you get the whole bird - feathers and all. And if you're still looking for a festive gift, how about a woollen gift handmade on the farm. Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Trish Campbell.
