Glenda Jackson, Gizzi Erskine, Dads in Prison

Glenda Jackson on why she took on the role of King Lear. Gizzi Erskine cooks the perfect stuffing. And the scheme helping men in prison stay in contact with their kids.

After 23 years as an MP, aged 80 Glenda Jackson, returned to the stage at the Old Vic in London to play the part of King Lear. Following the six week run she talks to Jenni about the joys and demands of taking on such an iconic role. Gizzi Erskine's new book 'Seasons Eatings' looks at what we eat during the winter seasons from October through to New Year and she'll talk about the best way to stuff a bird and Cook the Perfect... Jewelled Fruit and Nut stuffing . We'll be hearing about a scheme helping men in prison get to know their children. More from our reporter Abigail Hollick as she talks to women all over the UK about their lives - today she's in Sheffield. And as a Private Members Bill in Parliament calls on the government to ratify the Istanbul Convention - which sets minimum standards for governments when tackling violence against women - and make it law, we hear why it's so important for women.
