Joe's spirits will not be lifted, and Ian's ears are burning.

Caroline shows Oliver some villas in Tuscany but Oliver can't get Joe off his mind. Caroline gets an email from the estate agent, there's still no interest in Grange Farm. Oliver wonders if there's a way they buy in Italy without selling Grange Farm.

George is off school because he's not feeling well. In front of Will, he lets slip that Eddie took him foraging a few weeks ago. Will is livid, Joe tries to calm him down but he storms off. Will confronts Eddie - next time he goes poaching on Estate land, Will won't cover for him. Eddie worries William will forfeit Number 1 The Green as punishment. Will is incredulous that Eddie can think that.

Justin admits to Lilian that he's now wondering about the Estate Manager role he offered Rob. He'll probably call Rob later in the week. Ian overhears Lilian discussing the revelations that came out about Adam during the trial.

Adam tries to talk to Ian. Ian tells Adam he's got a thick skin but other people's pity is his limit. Adam insists nothing happened with Charlie and tries to blame Rob for the situation they're in. Ian insists Rob isn't the cause of their problem. Helen's the one who's suffered because of Rob, and if she doesn't get the children this week, he doesn't know how she'll cope.
