Paul Gambaccini presents tracks from this week's US charts and hits from the last six decades.

Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. Continuing our alphabetical look at the list, we hear 'Shout' by The Isley Brothers and 'I Want You Back' by The Jackson 5. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1943 of Scott Walker (real name: Noel Scott Engel) of The Walker Brothers by playing the trio's biggest American hit 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)'. Paul pays tribute to songwriter and record producer Luigi Creatore, who has recently died, by featuring his co-composition 'Can't Help Falling In Love'. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'Bad Blood' by Neil Sedaka and a different song with the same title by Taylor Swift.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays a song from a UK artist's biggest-selling album in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by Mike + The Mechanics and Gorillaz. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication 'Billboard'. This week's examples are by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and Philip Bailey with Phil Collins.

Our R&B number ones are from 1965 and now by The Larks and Tyrese. We hear Country number ones from 1977 and this week by Crystal Gayle and Thomas Rhett. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by The Lumineers and Twenty One Pilots. The number one album, for a fifth week, is '25' by Adele and her single 'Hello' returns to the top of the Digital Songs chart.
