Costa First Novel Award and JMW Turner

The winner of the Costa First Novel Award joins Janice. Plus, an exhibition of works by JMW Turner, 2016's year-long Festival of Architecture, and live music from Chloe Marie.

The winner of this year's Costa First Novel Award joins us live.

Ayrshire singer-songwriter, Chloe Marie, releases her first EP this month. It's called Changing and she'll be joining us for a live session to preview some of the tracks.

Every January, the National Gallery in Edinburgh showcases one of the world's finest collections of watercolours by J. M. W. Turner. Anne Ellis and James Crawford go along to pick their highlights.

2016 in Scotland is the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design. And there's a year-long Festival of Architecture celebrating all things architectural in Scotland. Johnny Rodger and James Crawford join us to discuss some of the highlights of the Festival and of modern Scottish architecture.

And in our first Tuesday review of the year, our critics, Nicola Meighan, Kirsty Miller and James Crawford will be discussing David Bowie's brand new album, Blackstar. Plus Tracey Ullman's new TV show - her first on British TV in many years - and the new thriller from novelist Alex Marwood.
