Lorna Luft and Ian Rankin

Janice Forsyth picks out interview and sessions highlight from 2015, featuring Lorna Luft and an extended interview with Ian Rankin recorded at Boswell Book Festival.

Janice Forsyth picks out some highlights from across the year including our whole second hour dedicated to Ian Rankin. In an interview recorded with Janice at the Boswell Book Festival, Ian looks back on his career to date and, of course, his most famous creation, Inspector Rebus, the old-school cop in today's modern world.

In the first hour she is in conversation with American singer songwriter Mary Lambert who performs an exclusive session for the show and talks about co-writing Same Love with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and performing at the Grammys. Janice also talks to author William Boyd about his latest novel Sweet Caress and daughter of Judy Garland, Lorna Luft, who was in Scotland earlier this year performing a show dedicated to the songs of her legendary mum.
