Sharon decides to get to the bottom of what's going on with Phil, but will she discover the truth? Stacey opens up about her fears, but what will she decide to do?

Sharon demands to know who ‘K’ is – she warns Phil that if he doesn’t come clean, she’ll delete ‘K’s number. As Sharon stands firm, Phil snatches the phone from her grasp – just as Dennis walks in and catches the tussle. As Sharon leads Dennis away Phil scans the text that Sharon’s caught – asking him to meet at St Pancras at 12 o’clock. Phil purports that he can explain the mysterious ‘K’ – it’s Karin who once did over Max for Phil; she wants payment. Sharon questions why Phil didn’t tell her this before, but Phil swiftly changes the subject and asks what it is she needed to tell him. Sharon claims it doesn’t matter and Phil disappears with his holdall.

As Phil heads off of the Square, Sharon eyes him suspiciously. Ian finds a forlorn looking Sharon on Arthur’s Bench and joins her. Sharon confesses her fears to Ian – she thinks Phil’s having an affair. Ian reminds her that she knows where they’re meeting and at what time and suggests she goes along to see for herself, before offering to accompany Sharon. At St Pancras, as Phil scans the concourse, Kathy peers out from behind a pillar. Sharon and Ian emerge from the lift and clock Phil alone. As Kathy tentatively approaches Phil she spots Ian and Sharon and struggles to contain her emotion. Watched on by Kathy, Ian and Sharon approach Phil – Sharon demands to know where ‘K’ is. Phil purports that he’s already seen her, but Sharon’s disbelieving. Kathy disappears from view just before Ian can catch sight of her. As a shaken Kathy makes her way through St Pancras she is startled to be cornered by a man who brands her as a ‘naughty girl’ – he knew everything she’d been planning...

Ian tries to assure a fraught Jane that things will be okay but is interrupted by an oblivious Bobby. Bobby states that he misses Cindy and questions when she’ll be back. Jane and Ian explain to Bobby that Cindy’s plans changed – she’s no longer just on holiday. Bobby’s hugely disappointed and takes himself upstairs. When Ian can’t give Jane a straight answer over whether Sharon is going to keep quiet, Jane despairs. Later, Sharon assures Ian that she hasn’t told the police or Phil about Bobby – and she’s not going to. Jane answers a knock at the door; it’s Marcus Christie. Marcus launches straight into asking Jane about Lauren’s movements on the night that Lucy died. Jane maintains that all she knows is that Lauren approached the Beales’ house and then walked away. Jane’s un-nerved when Marcus describes her as a great help, before handing over his business card. Bobby admits to Jane how much he hates always being sent upstairs away from Ian and Jane’s whispering.

As Stacey goes to leave for her appointment, she snaps at Martin when he suggests joining her. When Stacey spots Linda clocking the fiery exchange, she snaps at her too. The midwife talks Stacey through her options –if she carries on taking the Lithium, there’s a small risk that her baby’s heart may not develop properly. Stacey’s frustrated at the lack of clear answers; there are risks either way. Back on the Square, Stacey apologises to Linda for snapping at her earlier. Martin enters and tells Stacey that he went to Lily’s school in a bid to support Stacey – he knows that Stacey didn’t go.

Clocking that something is awry, Linda covers for Stacey and states that Stacey was with her all day. Upstairs in the Vic, Stacey explains her medication predicament to Linda; she has both the baby and Lily to think about. Stacey remembers how she felt as a child when Jean wasn’t on her medication and is scared to take the risk of making Lily feel like that. Stacey arrives home to Martin informing her that Lily has a surprise for her – she’s made them lunch. As Martin and Lily serve up, Stacey goes to throw her medication away, but changes her mind and places the packet back in the cupboard.

Shabnam questions Kush over what’s wrong with Carmel – Kush claims he doesn’t know. As Kush is completely unaware of what to say to a teary Carmel, Shabnam sends Kush off and steps in herself. As Shabnam presses Carmel on what the issue is, Carmel shocks Shabnam by describing herself as homeless. Carmel apologises for burdening Kush and Shabnam but the pair assure her that if she has a problem, they’re here for her. Carmel comes clean – Kush’s dad wants to sell the house and cash in his share. Carmel maintains that she can’t go back to the house and asks if she can stay.
