Women looking at men

Why is publicly lusting over Poldark deemed as harmless fun whereas if men behaved similarly towards a woman they would be seen as sexist and inappropriate?ÌęMartin Daubney is the former editor of ‘lads mag’ Loaded, a magazine famed for featuring shots of scantily-clad women. He is now a sex educator and thinks that on the whole men are happy to be the object of female attention.ÌęJournalist Tanya Gold says that double standards exist and women sexualising men in this way is just as de-humanising. ÌęIf the chance to ogle men is the gift of feminism – she’s handing it back.
