Liz chats to musician, DJ and presenter Clint Boon of Inspiral Carpets, who've just re-issued their first album, Dung 4, which was originally issued as a cassette.
The band formed in 1983 though Boon didn't join until 1987. They issued the aforementioned Dung 4 in 1989, and the following year made their breakthrough with the single This Is How It Feels. Life, their first album proper was also released in 1990 and reached number 2. They released 3 further albums before eventually splitting up in 1995.
They reformed in 2005, but in 2011 singer Tom Hingley left. At this point the original vocalist Stephen Holt joined the band.
Liz also gives listeners the chance to show-off their musical knowledge with themed tune suggestions and chats to a listener about their favourite album in All Killer No Filler, which this week rather aptly comes from Manchester legends The Chameleons.
