Are we putting too much pressure on teenagers to perform in exams? ±«Óãtv School Reporters at Richmond Park Academy in London talk about the strain they’re under and interview their head teacher about the ranking system at their school. And we hear from Andrew Halls, Head Teacher at King’s College School, Wimbledon about the wider extent of stress at school and how to help pupils deal with pressure. 

Flirty Dancing

Jenny McLachlan talks about her debut novel Flirty Dancing. Pupils at Uckfield Community College ask their English teacher about the inspiration for Bea, who overcomes low confidence at school by taking up dancing, and ask Jenny how she feels about a four book deal that means she’ll have to give up teaching to concentrate on writing. 

Online Bullying

±«Óãtv School Reporters and Woman’s Hour presenters Emily and Isabel interview fellow pupils at John Cleveland College in Hinckley, Leicestershire about being mocked and bullied online. They also interview Head Teacher, Paul Craven about how he dealt with pupils who set up a Facebook page inviting abusive comments and how Facebook reacted when he asked them to take it down.

The Queen's Prize

The top annual prize at Springwood High School in Kings Lynn is going to meet the Queen. Originally awarded to a student of "good conduct" and decided by a staff vote, today it’s given purely on exam performance. ±«Óãtv School reporters at Springwood High talk to Geography teacher Helen Carty who was awarded the prize in 1972 by the Queen Mother and Hannah Crosby who won the prize in 2012.
