And when it comes to changing the way we look at ourselves, do the fashion industry and magazines have a role to play? Guddy Burnet began her career working with Refuge and is now Community Safety Team Leader at Peabody, one of the largest social housing providers in London. She wrote the training package Domestic Abuse: Good Practice for Housing Providers.Ìę Today at Capita’s National Domestic Violence conference,Ìęshe will give a keynote speech. She joins Jane to explain how the initiative is helping to identify and refer domestic abuse victims and, along with author Dorothy Koomson, to discuss the nature of domestic abuse.
