It's day two of our top-notch chefs Ed Baines and Valentine Warners' culinary road trip, visiting and competing in country shows throughout Britain. They've left Yorkshire behind and have travelled all the way to Lambeth in London for the Lambeth Country Show, where they're entering the Garden Vegetable Cake category.

As a special treat, they pay a visit to nearby Brixton Village Market, to meet Ning Ma and her mother Mama Lan, who have agreed to let them in on one of their family's secret recipes; prawn, egg and Chinese chive dumplings.

But those Garden Vegetable Cakes won't bake themselves! So it's back to their converted Citroen van, complete with kitchen, and the competition is on! They're up against the Lambeth locals, but they're also aiming to beat each other, although if they don't impress show judge Margaret Stone, they could end up with egg on their faces! Roll up your sleeves, it's Country Show Cook Off!
