Alarm bells ring for Bianca, who has to act quickly when she discovers the stock she is selling with Kat is stolen. Jack joins Sharon behind the bar for Valentine's night.

Bianca escorts Liam home from school and grounds him. Bianca panics when she learns the dresses she bought were stolen goods; Kat takes charge of getting rid of them. At R&R, Bianca flips when she sees Kirsty wearing one of the dresses. Heading home, Kat and Bianca find Liam hanging around with a group of boys. The police are at the Butchers’. Bianca’s panicky as they ask about the stolen dresses; a security guard’s in a coma. Kat’s adamant they know nothing; she claims it’s her stall and they should interview her, not Bianca. Bianca looks terrified as Kat’s driven away.

Kat watches as Alfie gives Roxy flowers. Later, at R&R, Roxy’s jealous when Alfie talks to Kat. Alfie leaves alone and sees Kat getting into a police car.

Max’s showered Kirsty with gifts and prepared afternoon tea. Kirsty talks him into going to R&R but he soon leaves to buy some cars. Jack’s helping out at R&R to spend Valentine’s with Sharon. Sharon and Kirsty bicker. Jack asks Sharon to make an effort and when she refuses joins Kirsty himself.

Patrick’s in hospital and needs a knee operation. He’ll need a lot of care. Patrick’s upset to discover Denise and Kim haven’t put themselves down as next of kin. After Kim and Denise unwittingly make Patrick feel like a burden he asks the nurse to call Anthony.

Jay and Abi mess around with indoor fireworks, annoying Lauren. Abi rejects Max’s Valentine’s card. Jay cheers Abi with a thoughtful, romantic Valentine’s night in. After Abi assures Jay she’s ready, the couple sleep together for the first time.

It’s Dot and Jim’s anniversary. After visiting Jim, Dot confides in Patrick that he can’t get out of bed anymore. Later, all alone, Dot looks at her wedding photograph.
