A newly-returned Kat reasserts her authority by kicking Roxy out of the Vic and vowing to uncover the reason for Jean's meltdown. A fearful Michael keeps his distance.

Alfie’s alarmed by the contents of the Vic safe and bank account and tells Kat they’ve been cleared out. Alfie hears Jean’s story from Roxy and confronts Michael, who denies stealing – he wouldn’t lie to his best man. Alfie protests, but agrees. Jean’s attempting to explain to Kat when Alfie interrupts, convinced Jean’s absentmindedly hidden their money. Jean bursts into tears, admitting she took the money but no longer has it. Kat’s stunned when Jean reveals Michael’s behind it and confronts him. Michael lies smoothly; if he stole from Kat he’d be stealing from Tommy. Kat wavers, but then vows to prove Michael took the money.

Discovering all the wrong stock ordered, Kat throws Roxy out. Alfie insists she doesn’t have to go, Christian claims Roxy wants to move on. Roxy presents Alfie with a cheque from Amy’s trust fund to cover the VAT.

Lauren wants a party to cheer up Tamwar but they’re all skint. Derek gives Alice cash from the café till. Derek notes Alice’s crush on Anthony. Despite Max’s warnings Alice will hate him, Derek presses cash on Anthony to look after Alice. Lauren’s unimpressed to see Lucy at the party. Lucy knows Alice likes Anthony and plies her with strong drinks. Drunk, Alice babbles to Anthony then throws up. Lucy gloats as Derek ushers Alice home.

Kim’s bought a new bike. Zainab makes a crack about Kim’s sex life. Kim presents Ray with her list of 5 ex-boyfriends. Ray writes his own lengthy list. Alfie suggests organising a pub football team.

Tamwar puts on a brave face about Afia’s departure. Masood learns Afia’s staying at Auntie Shameem’s. Tamwar can’t bear being in the Argee Bhajee; with reminders of Afia. Zainab’s touched to overhear Masood giving Tamwar a pep talk.
