Ben seethes with jealousy as Phil and Jay bond over their new venture. Masood reveals new facts about Yusef to the family, which put a stop to any healing and reconciliation.

Ben’s eager to finish repairing the stock car for Phil. Phil plans to take Jay to a fight night on his birthday. DCI Marsden approaches Ben, reminding him to call if he remembers anything. With the car finished, Phil agrees to let Ben drive it. Ben’s embarrassed when he stalls. Humiliated, Ben watches as Phil cheers Jay on as he races round the Square. Later, Ben meets Marsden and claims Phil admitted he told Stella to jump or he’d push her.
Fatboy attempts to cheer up a melancholy Tamwar. Afia’s pleased when Tamwar accepts her help with physiotherapy. Zainab’s content that things are returning to normal but Masood can’t forget what Yusef did to Zainab. Tamwar overhears and is shocked to learn Yusef beat Zainab. Tamwar blames Afia and wishes he’d never met her.
Bianca keeps Morgan in the house when Ray arrives on the Square. Kim’s swept off her feet when Ray saves her from a falling ladder. Spotting Ray out of the window, Morgan asks to see his dad. Bianca’s furious Whitney let Morgan meet Ray. Kim’s disappointed that Ray has baggage. Ray insists he’s not leaving without seeing his son. In the café, Whitney confides how much she misses her own dad. Bianca relents and let’s Ray see Morgan.
Abi discovers a love letter addressed to ‘Fluffles’ in a book in the charity shop. Abi makes up with Lola and Jay when Lola reassures her they’re just friends. Dot agrees Cora can move back in. Abi initially thinks the love letter’s Mo’s. She’s intrigued to discover the book she found the letter in is Cora’s.
Jane doubts she has enough experience for the sous chef job. Tanya answers a call from Gethin and arranges her an interview.
Lauren tells Lucy she’s dropping out of school.
