Phil's search for his stalker takes a disastrous turn when Lola ends up getting hurt. Zainab and Yusef announce their plans, but Denise tries to stop Zainab from making a mistake.

Billy buries Phil’s stash of stolen goods in the allotments. Leaving a bag of cash in the Square gardens, Phil watches from the Vic to confront his stalker but then receives a text – he was seen. After arranging a second drop off, the bag’s picked up by a masked figure. Phil, Shirley and Ben give chase, only to discover it’s Liam. He insists he was paid to pick up the bag and leads them to Billy’s flat where Lola waits. As Phil furiously advances on Lola she falls backwards down the steps, hitting her head, and lies, unconscious.

Zainab and Yusef announce they’ll be married today in a private ceremony. Masood’s floored but claims he won’t stand in their way. He’s later stunned to learn of the family’s move to Pakistan from Denise, who urges him to confront Zainab. Meanwhile, Zainab quashes Afia’s worries about the marriage; privately, she’s nervous. Later, Denise interrupts the ceremony, worried that Yusef is controlling Zainab. Zainab declares she’d never let herself be abused like Denise. Denise is stung but pleads that Zainab be certain about the marriage.
Derek claims he’s surprised Rainie hasn’t been to see Tanya when she’s starting internal radiation. Post treatment, Rainie supports Tanya but when she won’t apologise for aiding their father’s death Rainie declares she can’t be her sister. Cora’s appalled; Rainie accuses Cora of hiding behind alcohol. Later, Rainie defends Tanya to Derek, insisting she doesn’t hate her. Rainie apologises to Tanya, and leaves Walford so Tanya can get better. Emotional Cora apologises to Tanya for her absence - it won’t happen again. Derek’s humiliated when Rainie dumps him. He’s further angered when Tanya insists he leave and Max backs her up.
Billy’s delighted when he’s selected to be an Olympic Torch bearer.
