Max and Tanya arrange another risky rendezvous, while Lauren goes all out in her attempts to catch Ryan's eye. Lola causes mischief during Abi and Jay's romantic evening.

Whitney’s annoyed to learn that Lauren kissed Ryan. Lauren dresses up in a red dress as part of a new look for Ryan’s benefit. Lauren downs vodka, gets drunk and flirts with Tyler, she’s hurt when Ryan feigns indifference to her new look. Whitney doesn’t think Lauren’s flirting is for Tyler’s benefit and apologizes, she doesn’t like seeing people taken advantage of. Later in the Vic, Max’s annoyed to find Lauren drunk and carries her home. As Lauren staggers upstairs, she spills the contents of her and Tanya’s handbags. Clearing up, Greg’s shocked to discover a pack of contraceptive pills.

Making plans to meet Max, Tanya’s preoccupied when Abi and Lauren try to confide in her. The plans are dashed when Greg surprises Tanya with a romantic meal. Later, Max and Tanya kiss passionately while Greg helps drunk Lauren up the stairs.

Abi attempts to buy condoms but bottles it. Lola tries to sabotage their plans and propositions Jay; he can have exactly what he wants. Nervous Abi confides in Rainie, asking her to buy the condoms. Later at the Arches, nervous Abi lies that she wasn’t able to get condoms, but Jay has some. They kiss, as things get heated Abi stops - she can’t do this. Jay’s irritated, maybe he should give Lola a call. Abi slams out of the Arches - Jay’s dumped.

Pat meets Norman in the Vic for a drink, but insists to Carol that it’s not a date. When he suggests meeting again, she vaguely tells him to ‘pop in sometime’.

Eddie’s eager to find business premises in Walford. Carol’s furious to learn that Liam’s been bunking off school to spend time with Eddie – she doesn’t want Liam turning out like Eddie. Hurt, Eddie tells Tyler that they’re moving back to Upton Park, there’s nothing for them here.
