Tanya refuses to believe Max when he insists the kiss with Whitney wasn’t his fault. Janine tells Whitney to get out after she refuses to lie to Ricky about Max. Ricky doesn’t think Whitney visiting Bianca is a good idea. Rob takes Whitney for a drink, invites her to stay with him for a few days and then gives her a phone when she says hers has no credit. Masood’s furious when he discovers Yusef is their new GP. Tamwar and Afia sit with Yusef and Denise in the café, Afia teases Yusef about Denise. Afia sees an engagement ring she likes, it costs £2500. Masood sees them all together; he’s polite to Yusef but leaves quickly. Later, Tamwar tentatively tells Zainab and Masood about Afia’s ring. Masood’s shocked at the price, but he and Zainab agree they don’t want Yusef to think they’re cheap.

Heather’s back at work. She realises Julie’s stolen a birthday card from the Minute Mart. Julie explains her son was taken away from her, she writes him a card every year and keeps it. Heather kindly tells Julie she has BO and washes her clothes.
