Panic Patterns - We preview Panic Patterns. Award winning novelists Louise Welsh and Zoe Strachan discuss their new play(on at the Citz) which follows ornithologists Jacq and Fay as they study bird migration patterns in remote Scotland; Fay is sure the changes signify an impending disaster while Jacq is concerned that the seclusion of the island has made her lover paranoid.

Great White Silence - We examine how restored documentary footage of Scott's doomed trip to the South Pole can finally be seen and explore the cultural and historical signifcane of the expedition and the desire to win the race for the Pole.

'First Click' - We hear about a workshop at Port Glasgow Library where they have been forging strong links with the First Click campaign and also ±«Óătv Scotland's Landscapes project.

Hidden Door We hear all about an arts festival called at the Roxy Art House in Edinburgh which combines music, art, poetry, dance and film. Hidden Door was created as much for the audiences as for the participants to create a new experience for people to enjoy and create art in. The festival has been fuelled by various collaborations between artists, musicians, poets and film-makers and the result is a multi-sensory experience for everyone involved.
