Bruce MacGregor hears Heidi Talbot on music and motherhood, Rod Jones and Emma Pollock on the Fruit Tree Foundation, and Hugh MacDonald describes some bizarre venues for live music.

Heidi Talbot talks about her new album The Last Star and how she combines a hectic touring and recording schedule with being a mother.

The Fruit Tree Foundation is a brand new arts initiative led by Rod Jones and Emma Pollock aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues by creating great art and music. They are showcasing some very special music at two intimate concerts as part of the Mental Health Film and Arts festival and join Bruce live from the festival launch to talk about their new project.

Where is the most interesting, unusual, bizarre or inspiring place to perform live music? A cave, a boat the cockpit of a plane? All have provided a venue for live music, but how does the venue change the atmosphere and feel of a concert? Hugh MacDonald, Artistic Director of the new Lammermuir Festival discusses some interesting venues with Bruce.
