Journalist Rose Skelton talks about the release of a new compilation CD 'Yes We Can - Songs about leaving Africa', while Freddy Faada of Senegalese group Daara J Family who feature on the release, chats about the band's new School of Life CD.
And in hour two, Mary Ann chats with Kenny Murray, the Scottish director of the UKs largest free African Festival, Liverpool based Africa Oye.
