Lenny Henry stars as Jake Thorne, a police chaplain who's lost his faith and has decided, as a test for God, to behave appallingly towards those he鈥檚 supposed to help. Today, Jake counsels a policeman who has lost his memory of a fatal blaze, while Jake's father Isaac, slipping into dementia, seems intent on wreaking revenge on the whole world but particularly on his own son.
