In an effort to win Tanya back, Max sets about trying to prove that he’s serious about taking things slowly. Tanya invites Max for dinner and sets about seducing him. When Max runs out to buy condoms he knocks into a staggering, dishevelled blonde wreck: it’s Stacey.

Bradley tries to trace Stacey to discuss divorce proceedings but meets a dead end. He bemoans the Slaters’ lack of cooperation to an irritated Syd. He tells her he’s doing this for them, but she insists he should do it for himself.

Syed inquires about renting a room in her flat and she happily agrees. There’s tension at the Masala unit with Zainab resenting Amira for encouraging Syed to move out.
