Is there still an undercurrent of English racism in Scotland?

A young woman was left with serious facial injuries after an allegedly anti-English attack in Aberdeen at the weekend. Lucy Newman, 22, of Gourdon, near Inverbervie, told 鲍鱼tv Scotland a man made racial remarks relating to her English accent before punching her in the face.

Despite this attack, do you think the problem of anti-English racism is exaggerated and that it's mostly just the traditional rivalry between our two countries? Or have you experienced racial abuse as an English person living in Scotland?
