Do Irish politicians have a place in stamping out sectarianism in Scotland?

An SNP member of the European Parliament has invited Fianna Fail MEP Eoin Ryan to Scotland to see how sectarianism in football is being combatted here. Today's visit comes after Mr Ryan complained in the Strasburg Parliament about the conduct of Rangers fans singing the "Famine Song" during the club's most recent game. But will his visit help or hinder the issue?
