Are exams getting easier?

With pass rates at record levels, Graham Stewart asks if teenagers are more intelligent, or are the exams getting easier? Plus: Should the Saltire be allowed at the Olympics?

The waiting is over for tens of thousands of teenagers... and pass rates at Higher and Standard Grade are at their highest level since the new system came in eight years ago. Are teenagers more intelligent than they used to be, or are the exams are getting easier?

Plus: Should the Saltire be allowed at the Olympics?

The official website for the games says that flags of non-member states will not be allowed and, as Scottish athletes compete under the banner of Great Britain, that rules out the Saltire. So, should the rules be changed or, given that we're competing as Great Britain, is the Union flag more appropriate?

Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
