The government is coming under fresh pressure to compensate the 1.1m people who are still worse off, after the abolition of the 10p tax rate. Earlier this month the Chancellor Alistair Darling announced changes to the personal allowance in a bid to defuse the row. He raised the amount people can earn before paying tax to over £6000. It means most people will be £120 pounds better off this year. Are you one of the winners?

Britain's muslim communities can't be blamed for not integrating, according to a report published this morning by The Institute of Race Relations. It suggests that Islamophobia in "established communities" is to blame for immigrant groups feeling isolated. What's your experience?
