How to catch all of the action at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2022!

Big Weekend returns for 2022, taking place in Coventry from 27-29 May, and there are many ways to follow all the fun!

With the likes of Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, George Ezra, Calvin Harris, Lorde, Aitch, Sam Fender, Anne-Marie, Foals, Disclosure and more all performing live, there's plenty of big-name acts to enjoy.

You can head to iPlayer and Sounds for the biggest sets, but here's your complete guide to how you can stay up-to-date across the weekend.

1. Watch the live stream on iPlayer

That’s right, you can see your favourite acts perform live from the comfort of your own home, on the move, or wherever you happen to be. If you’re not at the festival in Coventry then head to iPlayer from Friday night to Sunday night to enjoy key performances from this year's event.

The iPlayer stream times are as follows:

Friday 27 May
Radio 1 Dance Stage: 7pm - 11pm

Saturday 28 May
Main Stage: 12.30pm - 10.15pm
Future Sounds Stage: 12.55pm - 9.45pm

Sunday 29 May
Main Stage: 12.30pm - 10.15pm
Future Sounds Stage: 1.05pm - 9.45pm

2. Listen live on Radio 1 and Sounds

Even if you’re miles away from Coventry, you can pretend you’re there by listening to Radio 1, joining your favourite presenters, DJs and loads more as they bring you exclusive action from Big Weekend.

On Radio 1 on Friday, there will be DJ sets aired live in full from 7pm - 12am, while on Saturday and Sunday, there will be all day programming from 11am, with live sets from 12.30pm to 1am. Expect performances from your faves, including the big-name headline acts.

3. Explore more on Sounds

To get you hyped for the weekend, why not take a listen to our selection of special Big Weekend mixes running up to the event itself. There's special Radio 1 Happy Mixes from George Ezra, Mabel and Sigrid, as well as a line-up mix, Big Weekend episodes of Radio 1 Anthems, while Danny Howard gets the party started with a Big Weekend edition of the Club Mix. Harry Styles fans, meanwhile, can get to know the star a little better with a special edition of Artist Icons.

4. Revisit performances again, and again, and again

You'll be able to revisit your favourite Big Weekend sets for 30 days after broadcast.

On Sounds, you'll be able to enjoy huge live music moments from the Radio 1 and Future Sounds stages, plus DJ sets for all you dance fans!

Over on iPlayer, we'll have every set from both the Radio 1 and Future Sounds stages available to watch on demand, as well as selected tracks from across the weekend too.

5. Watch on TV for all the best bits

Highlights from the festival will be shown on TV, so why don't you gather the whole family around the telly and enjoy!

On Saturday 28 May at 10.20pm, ±«Óãtv One will be bringing you Big Weekend highlights, hosted by Radio 1's Clara Amfo, Vick Hope and Jordan North.

Meanwhile on Sunday 29 May, fans will be able to enjoy Harry Styles' full Big Weekend set at 10.40pm on ±«Óãtv One, hosted by Clara Amfo.

Over on Red Button, you'll be able to get in the mood for Big Weekend with Radio 1's Big Weekend Coventry - The Warm Up, airing from Saturday 21 May to Friday 27 May.
