Pete Tong announces details of ±«Óãtv Radio 1 in Ibiza 2011

Pete Tong has announced that ±«Óãtv Radio 1's legendary annual trip to the party isle of Ibiza will this year take place on Friday 5 August from the renowned Space club, with a mammoth 12-hour live broadcast featuring a huge line-up of Radio 1 DJs and some of the biggest names in dance music.

Kicking off from 7pm (8pm Spanish time), Pete and Annie Mac will be hosting a free party from Space, heating up the partygoers with classic tunes and the biggest tracks of the summer.

The Radio 1 DJs will also welcome to the decks special guests including Calvin Harris and Carl Cox at what promises to be one of the hottest tickets on the island.

More big names and details of how to be part of this event will be revealed over the next few weeks on Radio 1 and at .

From 11pm (12midnight Spanish time), the party switches gear with a special extended Essential Mix broadcast live from Come Together @ Space. Listeners will be treated to the very best of an eclectic line up of some of the hottest names in dance music today – Deadmau5, Magnetic Man, Jamie Jones, Funkagenda, Breakage and many more to be announced.

Alongside this stellar line up of talent, the Radio 1 dance music family will be getting involved to make sure the party doesn't slow down until 7am (8am Spanish time). Confirmed to play are Judge Jules, Kissy Sell Out, Annie Mac, Jaymo & Andy George, Skream & Benga, Kutski, Chuckie, Toddla T, Heidi and Zane Lowe.
