Swedish House Mafia and The Strokes to headline In New Music We Trust stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend
±«Óãtv Radio 1 announce that The Strokes and Swedish House Mafia will be the headline acts performing on the In New Music We Trust stage at this year's Radio 1's Big Weekend, which takes place in Carlisle on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May 2011.
Other acts confirmed to perform on the stage include Friendly Fires, Nero, Noah and the Whale, The Vaccines, Wretch 32, Magnetic Man and Two Door Cinema Club.
The news was announced by Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1 this afternoon (4pm-7pm, currently deputising for Scott Mills).
Earlier today it was announced that the Main Stage at this year's event will be headlined by Lady Gaga and Foo Fighters.
