Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe take to the road this October for Radio 1's Student Tour

±«Óãtv Radio 1's Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe are set to visit four university towns and cities across the UK in October to broadcast their shows live from each location and meet up with some of the biggest music acts of the moment who are touring the country* – Mark Ronson, 30 Seconds To Mars, Chase & Status and Klaxons.

Each day, Fearne will be getting involved with student life in her 10am-12.45pm show and throwing open the doors to the legendary Live Lounge, where each of the acts will join her for a special session.

Fearne says: "Going on the Radio 1 Student Tour is going to be like a university life crash course for me. Having never been to uni I'm looking forward to kicking back with the students and living the life in four different places in one week!

"The line-up is insane, too, so all in all it should be a cracking tour!"

In the evening, each act will join Zane Lowe for a headline performance at each location between 7-9pm and will be supported by some very special guests – Darwin Deez, Example and Everything Everything.

Northumbria University Newcastle, Mark Ronson (plus support Darwin Deez)

Tuesday 19 October
Lincoln University Engine Shed, 30 Seconds To Mars

Wednesday 20 October
Oxford Academy, Chase & Status (plus support Example)

Thursday 21 October
Bristol University Anson Rooms, Klaxons (plus support Everything Everything)
