Premier League Football on Radio 5 Live
±«Óãtv Radio 5 Live has secured continued live Premier League commentary rights for the next three years, starting with the 2010-11 season.
Radio 5 Live has been awarded four broadcast packages including the Saturday lunch time kick-off, the first pick of the traditional Saturday 3.00pm matches, Sunday 4.00pm and Monday and Tuesday night Premier League fixtures.
It will have more live Premier League football than anyone else, plus live commentary from the FA Cup, the Championship and the rest of the Football League, the League Cup, the Champions League, the Europa League and the Scottish Premier League.
Adrian Van Klaveren, Controller, Radio 5 Live, says: "We are delighted to be awarded four key Premier League packages in the face of unprecedented competition.
"We know how important live football, above all the Premier League, is to our audience so it is very good news that we will continue to offer 5 Live listeners the fullest football coverage including not only the Premier League but also the Champions League, international matches, the FA Cup, the Football League and SPL."
