Each distribution goes through a peer reviewing, test coverage and platform testing process before being released. We currently test on:
Solaris Linux FreeBSD Mac OS X Win32 (Activestate perl) Modules with platform dependencies (e.g. Wx-Perl-FSHandler-UNC and Lingua-MSWordSpell) are only tested on a subset of these. Where possible modules are designed to work with older versions of perl (everything is tested with perl 5.6.x and most are tested on perl5.004) as well as recent versions.
