The National Grid have made a , which predicts the carbon intensity and generation mix of the electricity grid in each region of Great Britain.
The Carbon Minimiser allows you to take this data, and calculate the optimal times to perform actions to reduce their impact on the planet.
The Minimiser allows you to answer simple questions like:
Where in Great Britain has the lowest carbon intensity right now?
or more complex questions like:
What is the best 4 hour window to charge my electric car in the South of Scotland between 3 and 30 hours from now?
It is a self-hosted, asynchronous Python API.
