Teifi Marsh is without doubt one of the best wetland reserves in Wales. Enjoy a close encounter with the resident wildlife including the Water Buffalo.

It's also home to the Welsh Wildlife Centre, a stunning building with excellent facilities for nature lovers.

  • Get involved in wetland wildlife watching. Go bird spotting, enjoy wild walks and learn about this threatened wildlife habitat.

Nature watching:

Wild walks - follow the trails that criss-cross the reserve. On your walk, look for Otters, and Water Voles.

The Otter Trail - takes about 90 minutes. There are six hides along the route.

Two woodland walks - look out for Redstarts and Pied Flycatchers.

Kingfishers - try the Kingfisher hide but expect to be wait so be patient.

Dragonflies - close to water courses.

Ìý

Water Buffalo - near to water areas.

Facilities:

The Welsh Wildlife Centre - cafe and visitor centre.

Ìý

The Treetop Hide gives a good view of the whole area.

Access:

Disabled access: Many of the footpaths are access friendly for wheelchairs.

Getting there:

Teifi Marshes is located near Cilgerran close to Cardigan in Wales.

Opening times:

The Welsh Wildlife Centre on Teifi Marsh is open throughout the year from 10.30am-5.00pm daily.
