We are extremely grateful for the dedication, time and effort our fundraisers put in – regardless of the amount raised.
We have a range of challenge events on our website for you to get involved in. Alternatively you can create your own event and use this fundraising pack as a guide. Why not organise a bake sale, a clothes swap or a quiz night with your friends or colleagues?
Our vision at ±«Óãtv Media Action is to tackle poverty and contribute to long-term positive change in some of the poorest and most fragile societies worldwide. Money donated through fundraising activities and events is spent in areas of greatest need – for instance, helping us to respond rapidly to the 2017 drought in Somalia that affected 6.2 million citizens or our 2017 response to the humanitarian emergency that displaced more than 900,000 Rohingya people in Myanmar.
Fundraising Pack
We hope that the fundraising pack will introduce you to the world of fundraising and inspire you with many fundraising ideas. But if you need further support, we have an experienced fundraising team who are only an email away and always happy to answer any questions, as well as suggest tips and tricks.
We do not offer any materials at the moment, but we are happy to advise you during your fundraising journey to inspire you to create unique fundraising materials with the use of our logo.
Although we're an impactful Fundraising team at ±«Óãtv Media Action HQ, we are very small – and this means we’re usually unable to attend as many events as we'd love to. That being said, if you think that our attendance at an event you’re organising is important, don't hesitate to contact us and we’ll see what we can do!

Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme which enables charities to claim back the tax people have already paid on their donations – and means we receive an additional 25p per every pound donated.
If you're using an online platform, such as JustGiving or The Big Give, to raise money at your event – you can ask your supporters to make their money go further by ticking the Gift Aid box (provided they are a UK taxpayer).
