By Steve Coleman Young people across Merseyside improved their writing skills with a novel poetry project, as part of ±«Óãtv RaW.
±«Óãtv RaW aims to increase people’s reading and writing skills in engaging ways. We took the simple idea of the fridge magnet word games and turned them into a computer generated kitchen canvas.
OurÌý virtual fridge and a few dozen cyber magnets wentÌýout on the road on the ±«Óãtv Bus to see what creativity bytes when you mess about with aÌýwhite domestic applianceÌý (only ours in blue!)
Young people from Liverpool, Knowsley, Wirral and St Helens wrote a range of poems from limericks to lullabies.

RaW is the ±«Óãtv’s biggest ever campaign that aims to help adults across the UK read and write better.
