Set during the years of the Miners' Strike, 'Brassed Off' is the story of a brass band which unites the community in a mining village. The play is heart warming, funny and very moving.ÌýIt was made famous in 1996 by the Ewan McGregor and Pete Postlethwaite film production. Directed by Mark Murply, this is the Centenary premier of the work. The cast of Brassed Off is as follows:
