Here’s the perfect introduction to classical music for all ages!
Over the past two years the ±«Óãtv’s Ten Pieces initiative has opened up the world of classical music to a generation of children, and inspired them to develop their own creative responses to ten specially-chosen pieces of music. This concert offers the chance to hear some of these works performed LIVE by the ±«Óãtv Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Featuring music such as Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries and Stravinsky’s The Firebird, this event will bring these works to life in a concert for all the family that captures the unique energy and excitement of classical music. There’s no better way to introduce children to the amazing sounds of a live orchestra and some of the greatest music ever written.
Each concert will last approximately one hour with no interval.
