Join Mary King and members of the ±«Óătv Singers for a practical introduction to this late work of JanĂĄÄek â written in his seventies but full of life-affirming joy. Together youâll explore the rhythmic patterns that are typical of the composer, and do a little vocal dancing! The piece is full of energy â a great opportunity to delve into the Czech language too.
This workshop is open to ages 16-plus. The ability to read music is an advantage but not a pre-requisite. This workshop is an introduction to Prom 9 on Thursday 24 July. For details about booking Proms tickets click here.
