They have played Coachella and Lollapalooza and are flying back via Oz and Japan for gigs and then, lucky for us, Reading and Leeds. Omar admits itâs purely a "nostalgia thing" so donât get your hopes up for a new album.
The last album before break up was Relationship of Command, âone of the most vital albums of the first decade of this millenniumâ according to NME, and âone of the most important rock records of all timeâ to Kerrang! It set the bar for every post-hardcore record since. When asked if they plan to get back together, Omar said âdo you want to get back together with your first girlfriend?... I just shudder at the thought.â This should be a moment to remember!
