Maverick Sabre came to our attention as one of MistaJam’s ‘Ones to Watch’ back in 2011. With vocals that are as haunting as they are soulful, placed starkly alongside gritty and unrelenting lyrics, Mav has been enchanting audiences ever since.
2012 saw the release of his gold-certified debut album, Lonely Are The Brave, which went in at No.2 in the UK album chart. Maverick also enlisted the likes of fellow musical innovators Ms Dynamite, Rudimental and Daley to complete a UK tour.
After returning to his East London roots for our Hackney Weekend last summer, Maverick is once again set to bring that unique blend of guitar mastery, RnB influence and soulful voice to the 1Xtra Arena.
