Complaint
This programme included a discussion of the allegations of inappropriate behaviour made against the racing driver Christian Horner.  A listener complained the coverage relied on the views of an “unqualified party with a vested interest” and therefore lacked impartiality.
Outcome
The ECU found the programme included a range of views on the issue, including those of Mr Horner himself, and this ensured the programme met the ±«Óătv’s requirements for due impartiality, irrespective of whether the commentator named by the complainant had a vested interest.
