Summary of complaint
We have received complaints from people who are unhappy that Bernie's Rock 'n' Roll Heaven is coming to an end.
Our response
We understand it’s a huge disappointment when a favourite show comes to an end but would like to reassure listeners that Bernie will continue to entertain audiences every weekday 10am-2pm on ±«Óãtv Radio Northampton and ±«Óãtv Sounds.Â
We have made changes across all 39 local radio stations in order to move resource and improve content on our digital platforms which we know are growing.
In certain parts of the day including afternoons, evenings and weekends outside of sport, we’ll share some programming with neighbouring stations. But even then, there will be content that is locally relevant, and there will be presenters and programmes that provide the entertainment and companionship.
As we’ve already indicated, Bernie will continue to present his morning weekday programme on ±«Óãtv Radio Northampton, and we hope listeners will enjoy tuning in to him there.
