Our response
We acknowledge that the original headline, ‘Jacinda Ardern resigns: Can women really have it all?’ was unsuitable. Within an hour of publication it was changed to ‘Jacinda Ardern resigns: Departure reveals unique pressures on PM’. Further changes were made quickly to the text to broaden the focus of the piece, and we deleted the associated tweet.
